FBS Review Conclusions:
FBS is an ECN /STP broker owned by FBS Markets Inc. FBS was founded in 2009 and has headquarters in Cyprus. The broker maintains also offices in many Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, and China). FBS is regulated by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). The asset index contains 28 Forex pairs, CFDs, Futures, and Gold and Silver on spot. As concerns trading platforms, FBS offers only MT4 and MT5 desktop but also an MT4 mobile trader for all the popular mobile devices (Android, iOs, and Windows). Automated trading, scalping, and hedging are all allowed. The broker offers fair trading conditions. EURUSD spreads start from 0.2 pips but the typical EURUSD spread starts from 1.0 pips. FBS offers also Fixed spreads starting from 2.0 pips (2 pips for EURUSD and 3 pips for GBPUSD and USDJPY). The trading leverage can be up to 1000:1.
The minimum deposit to open an account is just $1 while an account may be held in EUR or USD. Many fund methods are available by FBS including Cards (Visa, MasterCard), WebMoney, Wire Transfers, MoneyBookers Skrill, WebMoney, MoneyGram, PerfectMoney, EgoPay, DixiPay, OKPay, and Neteller. FBS charges no deposit or withdrawal commissions. There are four main account types available (check the table above) but true ECN execution seems to appear only in the Unlimited Account type, as this account is linked to the Currenex ECN system. Regarding innovation, FBS provides a pretty unique deposit insurance system (a fee is paid for the broker to cover part of the potential loss). They also provide a number of contests and free tools. The Fx-Bazooka for example operates as an information center between Forex traders. Customer service is available 24/5 via Chat, Phone, Email, and Forum. The broker at the time of this review offers a 60% deposit bonus.
