Testing & Conclusion:
AvaTrade is one of the leading CFD brokers in the world, holding 150,000 trading accounts from over 150 countries. AvaTrade is regulated by ASIC (Australia) and CBI (Ireland). I traded with Ava in 2013 using their MT4 platform. Before opening a real account, I tested their other platform too, the AvaTrader. AvaTrader offers a great variety of assets (Forex and CFDs) but it was too simple, so I chose to test AvaTrade by opening a real account using an MT4 account. The Ava MT4 is easy to install and offers all the classic MT4 features, plus 1-click-trading. The asset index includes many Currency Pairs and Gold Trading. As concerns the speed of execution, I could say that the Ava MT4 performed well. Ava MT4 slippage is far better than other Market Makers that I have used. The only real disadvantage I can mention is the magnitude of the spread. In some cases and by giving orders of 1 standard lot -the spreads in minor currencies were skyrocketing. If you deposit 1,000 USD or more you may benefit from better trading conditions. AvaTrade bonus policy is usually 50% of the first deposit. As concerns fund methods, most popular fund methods are supported, but PayPal is not available for every country. AvaTrade offers also the Ava Mirror Trader and a mobile trader. I must mention also that their chat and email support were very good. Overall AvaTrade is considered a reliable choice for online Forex brokerage that can fit the needs of Position Traders and not for Day-Traders.
